A dream (soon) coming true: the reconversion of a disused cast iron water tower into the Chateau d'O Suite and Pool, a unique staycation structure that will soon add to the collection of eccentric rooms under the brand name maadest.

From the king-size bed, the designer bath tub or the plush sofas - there are two levels inside the tower, the sleeping area being above the living area -, eyes wander on Koh Norea Bridge in close background, the majestic Phnom Penh Four Rivers, the green treetops of Treellion Park and Aquation Office Park, and even the aquamarine expanse of Dib Club pool in the distance.

And 13 meters high above ground, the swimming pool, subtly decorated with kbach (Khmer traditional motifs) and surrounded by a lounge deck and a wraparound balcony, makes you really feel that you're staying above the fray. Latt, the designer of the pool decoration, recalled for us that "most of the motifs used here are based on Kbach Phni Voah, a style deeply influenced by nature, which I thought a match with MAADS's approach of blending nature and urban aesthetics."

As workers have now completed the strenghtening and remodeling of the repurposed structure, interior designers are busy giving a special touch to a really unique concept. Check the latest simulations by MAADS Creations Studio here below.
